State Rep. Karl Bohnak on Tuesday announced his ongoing Karl’s Capitol Forecast video series. The Forecast, which started earlier this year, is a regular opportunity for Bohnak to update his constituents on what’s happening in Lansing. The video also includes a brief weather forecast from Bohnak, who worked as a weatherman in the U.P. for over 30 years.

“I want my friends and neighbors in the U.P. to know that I’m putting just as much effort into representing them in Lansing as I did working as their weatherman for all those years,” said Bohnak, R-Deerton. “For decades, I joined folks in their living rooms to give them an honest account of the weather. Now, in addition to providing that weather forecast, I’m honored to provide those same people an honest account of their state government at work. I’ve dedicated my life to serving and educating U.P. residents, and Karl’s Capitol Forecast is another great way for me to do just that.”
