Discussions to include vaccine update from Jackson County Health Department

State Rep. Julie Alexander, of Hanover, today announced an opportunity for local residents to share their ideas with her during her virtual office hour.

The informal meeting is scheduled to take place Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 4 to 5 p.m. on Zoom.

Rep. Alexander also announced she will be joined by Jackson County Health Department Health Officer Rashmi Travis who will discuss the local vaccine rollout plan and be available to answer questions.

“This is a great opportunity for interested residents to learn when and where the vaccine will be available to them and their loved ones,” Alexander said. “I also look forward to speaking with my Jackson County neighbors about how I can best represent their interests at the Capitol.”

Those who are unable to attend the meeting but would still like to share a concern or idea can also contact Rep. Alexander’s office at (517) 373-1795 or [email protected]
