State Representative Tom Kunse, R-Clare, joined Senator Roger Hauck in honoring Ferris State University Hockey Coach Bob Daniels with a special tribute as he steps down from his legendary role as head coach.

“It was truly an honor to recognize Coach Bob Daniels, whose passion and dedication have been the heart and soul of Ferris State Hockey for the past 33 years,” said Kunse, who emphasized that Daniels’ impact extends far beyond the rink. “As the winningest hockey coach in Ferris State history, Coach Daniels has not only built a powerhouse program but has also mentored and inspired generations of players, shaping their futures both on and off the ice.”

“His leadership and unwavering commitment have left a lasting legacy—not just at Ferris State, but in the world of hockey itself. His influence will be felt for years to come. Congratulations to Coach Daniels on a well-earned retirement after an extraordinary career.”
