Grand Rapids-area representatives participate in veterans home groundbreaking

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: State Representatives Mark Huizenga, Lynn Afendoulis, Thomas Albert, Rachel Hood, and Joe Tate participated in a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday for a new Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. The facility is part of a statewide plan to modernize long-term care for veterans in need and will include a total of 128 rooms. The home is expected to open in Spring of 2021.
