State Rep. Jason Sheppard, of Temperance, today praised the new House Republican Action Plan’s focus on lowering the cost of auto insurance in Michigan.
“Under the current no-fault insurance system, Michigan drivers have some of the highest premiums in the United States,” Sheppard said. “The people in my district know this too well, with Ohio just a few miles away. All of Michigan deserves better. I’m committed to continue my work to improve the system so residents have more affordable options for insurance.”
The House Republican Action Plan, unveiled during a Capitol news conference Thursday, outlines key legislative priorities for the next two years.
