Rep. Kevin Daley:: District 82:: Lum

State Representative Daley is a lifelong resident of Lapeer County, born and raised in Arcadia Township.

Daley is a 4th generation Centennial Farm Owner, and is one of a few active farmers currently serving in the Michigan Legislature. His background in agriculture has taught him the tenets of hard work, integrity, and honesty and it is these values he seeks to uphold in Lansing.

He has also served in various roles in community organizations and affiliations, including the President of the Tri-County Michigan Milk Producers Association and board member of the Lapeer County Farm Bureau. Immediately prior to his election to the House of Representatives, Kevin served 24 years as Trustee, Treasurer and then Supervisor of Arcadia Township.

Representative Daley is a former member of the Lapeer County Agriculture Preservation Board, and a current member of Michigan Right to Life and the National Rifle Association.

Representative Daley was first elected to the Michigan House in November 2008 and represents Lapeer County. For the 2013-2014 Legislative term, he will serve as chair of the House Agriculture Committee. In addition he has a seat on the Local Government, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Education Committees. His legislative priorities are to rebuild Michigan’s economy by eliminating wasteful spending through rigorous government reform, and growing the agricultural industry in Michigan.

Kevin and his wife of 31 years, Debbie, have three grown children.
