State Rep. Jim Tedder welcomed students from Waterford Montessori School to Lansing during a class field trip on Tuesday. The fourth and fifth-grade students toured the Capitol building and had the opportunity to visit with Rep. Tedder outside the House chamber.

State Rep. Jim Tedder, of Clarkston, hosted Waterford Police Sgt. Mike Harris and Patrol Officer Scott Ritter as his guests for the Michigan House’s annual Sept. 11 Memorial Service at the Capitol. The service remembers first responders and members of the military from Michigan who died in the line of duty in the past year.
Rep. Tedder of Clarkston welcomed third grade students from Jefferson International Academy to the state Capitol recently. “It’s wonderful to see students from my community learning about their state government in such an interactive way, ” Tedder said. “This is a great experience for these young people.” Jefferson International Academy is in Waterford. .
