Rep. McCready recognizes Bloomfield Township Fire Chief

Bloomfield Township Fire Chief, David Piché was awarded the Fire Chief of the Year Award for 2015 from the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs. To recognize his great accomplishment, Rep. Appropriations committee approves McCready’s responsible pet breeding bill

Rep. Mike McCready introduced House Bill 4898, a bill to provide funding to address and properly regulate large-scale house pet breeding facilities in Michigan. Rep. Mike McCready said he introduced the legislation after he learned that Michigan was the only state in the Midwest that didn’t have strong laws supporting responsible breeding practices.
