State Rep. Ken Goike was first elected in November 2010 to the Michigan House. Goike represents Armada, Lenox, Ray and Richmond townships, as well as parts of Macomb township, Memphis city and the city of Richmond.
Goike chairs the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and is vice chair of the House Committee on Tourism and Outdoor Recreation. He is also a member of the committees on Transportation and Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Insurance.
Goike is the owner of Goike Trucking and Excavating. Goike is the current president of the Armada Fair, and is a member of the Michigan Farm Bureau, Armada Agricultural Society and the Septic Association.
Goike is a lifelong resident of Macomb County. He currently lives in Ray Township and is a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He has three children, two step-children and nine grandchildren and is active in many civic organizations including the Berville Lions, Richmond Masons, Macomb 4-H and B&Bs Gun Club.
