Rep. Whiteford testifies on need for specific standards on invasive medical treatments

PHOTO INORMATION: State Rep. Mary Whiteford, of Casco Township, today testified on her legislation to set standards for sensitive medical procedures while expanding record retention requirements to 15 years for such examinations in order to protect patients. Her comments came during a House Law and Justice Committee hearing reviewing legislation in response to a House inquiry involving the recent Larry Nassar scandal.
