Rep. Wendzel welcomes Blossomtime Court to Capitol
RELEASE|May 14, 2019

State Representative Pauline Wendzel welcomed Miss Blossomtime and her court to the Michigan State Capitol.

“At one hundred thirteen years old, the Blossomtime Festival is the oldest and largest multi-community festival in Michigan,” Wendzel said.  “Blossomtime is a time-honored tradition in our community and highlights some of the best attributes of Southwest Michigan including our agriculture.”

The Blossomtime Court spent the day in Lansing visiting the Capitol and were introduced in the Michigan House of Representatives.

“Both of my sisters and I participated in Blossomtime, and I know these young people have worked extremely hard for their titles and the honor to represent their communities and this festival,” Wendzel said.  “I hope they embrace every new opportunity, exciting experience, and lasting memory that their time with the organization brings them.”
