Rep. Michael Webber today announced a combined grant award of $243,279 to nine Rochester Hills businesses.

3-Dimensional Services, A Raymond Tinnerman., ADDUXI Inc., Lear Corporation – Rochester Hills, Marquardt Switches, Plymouth Technology, Rayconnect, T.A. Systems and Urgent Plastic Services were awarded funds from the 2018 GoingPRO-Skilled Trades Training Fund (STTF) for the development of skilled-training programs in local Michigan businesses.

“It’s great to see local companies continue to invest in their employees and communities,” Webber said. “These grants help create local jobs, provide technical education to employees, and contribute to the overall economic growth of the greater Rochester area.”

The STTF operates under the Talent Investment Agency and aims to provide opportunities for employers and workers to gain skilled-training experience in high-demand technical fields. Over the past five years, the STTF has helped companies create more than 14,000 jobs and retain 56,000.
