Rep. Vaupel announces major investment in downtown Howell

RELEASE|January 23, 2019

State Rep. Hank Vaupel announced today $1,729,179 will be invested in the City of Howell by the Michigan Strategic Fund as part of the Community Development Block Grant Program.

“I am excited for this great investment in the 47^th District,” Rep. Vaupel said. “Howell is a thriving, award-winning community, and I know these improvements will benefit residents greatly.”

The funds will be used to remove some of the last lead jointed pipes from the city’s water system and replace the storm sewer to help drainage.
