State Rep. Scott VanSingel, R-Grant, was sworn into office at the state Capitol on Wednesday to serve his first term as state Representative. Rep. VanSingel was sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice Stephen Markman in the House chamber. Rep. VanSingel represents the residents of Lake, Oceana and Newaygo counties.
