State Rep. Brad Paquette, of Berrien Springs, was joined by 6,011 residents on Wednesday night during his live tele-town hall update on recently passed auto insurance reforms.

“Auto insurance reform has been the number one issue for my constituents and this tele-town hall was a great way to reach out and let them know we got the job done,” Paquette said. “I appreciate people taking the time out of their evening to join in the discussion and ask the questions they want answered.”

Residents who participated were able to ask questions of both Rep. Paquette and his guest, Rep. Jason Wentworth of Clare. Rep. Wentworth serves as chair of the House Select Committee on Reducing Car Insurance Rates and was the lead for the state House in crafting the auto insurance reforms passed earlier this year.

Anyone unable to participate in the tele-town hall event or who has questions related to state government may contact Rep. Paquette at 517-373-1796 or email [email protected].
