State Rep. Jack O’Malley, of Lake Ann, voiced his support for the Manistee County Board’s recently passed resolution to declare the Great Lakes Coast a Disaster Area and requests financial assistance from the federal government.
“This is a critical time for those affected and we need to act quickly to prevent the situation from getting any worse,” Rep. O’Malley said. “I’m proud to join Manistee County in this fight to bring attention to these damages and secure the funds necessary to fix them.”
The representative will continue to work on this pressing issue to provide much needed relief to those affected on the coast.
