Mike Mueller of Linden led efforts in raising $25,000 for children and adults with mental health challenges at the Capitol on Thursday, participating in the eighth annual Legislative Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Michigan with his legislative director Scott Kempa. In tradition of the event, participants are encouraged to be creative and wear a costume that best fits them. Rep. Mueller chose the uniform he wore as a SWAT team member of the Washtenaw County Sheriff Department.
