State Rep. Steve Marino today said efforts helping military members and veterans, law enforcement and the state’s infrastructure are among his top priorities during this session of the Michigan Legislature.
Marino, of Harrison Township, joined colleagues announcing the 2017-18 House Republican Action Plan. The wide-ranging plan lists top priorities over the next two years to help continue Michigan’s economic growth and improve the quality of life for residents across the state.
Marino said he supports efforts boosting educational opportunities and career training for military families and veterans. He favors maintaining the strength of the Michigan State Police by training more troopers.
Marino strongly supports investing in our water and sewer systems, roads and broadband.
“From a sinkhole in Macomb County to systematic sewage overflows in Lake St. Clair, it’s clear we need to address our aging infrastructure,” Marino said.
