State Rep. Peter Lucido today announced he has been named to four House of Representatives committees, including serving as vice chair of Law and Justice.
Lucido, of Shelby Township, was on the committee during the 20115-16 session when it was called the House Criminal Justice Committee.
“Law and Justice – everybody knows that’s what I’m all about,” Lucido said. “I’m pleased to return to that committee, continuing to work on the incredible responsibility to improve the safety for all of Michigan’s residents.”
He also highlighted his experience and Macomb County insight in working as a member of the Tax Policy, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Financial Liability Reform committees.
“Each of these assignments is crucial to helping move Michigan forward,” Lucido said. “Our tax policy and financial liability policy needs to be updated with hard-working families in mind. The infrastructure above and below ground clearly needs to be addressed. We’ve got a lot of work to do over the next two years and I’m beyond ready to get right to it.”
