LANSING – Perfect attendance and perfect voting record.
State Rep. Peter Lucido, R-Shelby Township, completed the 98th legislative session with a perfect record in committee and House floor votes in 2015-16.
“The people of the 36th District do not vote for a representative to show up for 83 percent of the votes in the state House, they voted for me to be their representative 100 percent of the time – in the Capitol, in the committee meetings and in Macomb County,” said Rep. Lucido. “It’s a high expectation and I’ve got no problem making that goal.”
The current session included 1,261 roll call votes on the House floor. In addition, Lucido was in attendance and actively participating with the Judiciary, Criminal Justice, Energy Policy, and Financial Services committees.
“That’s where the legislation is built – during committee hearings,” said Rep. Lucido. “No matter where it was, I was expected and I wanted to be a part of it. So, first term – mission accomplished. Next up – second term with the same expectations.”
