“Much of the work that Jim did went unnoticed by the public, but it was critically important to having an efficient, effective, and accountable state government,” Lilly said.
During his time as a regulation agent, he conducted over 2,882 investigations, resulting in $424,302 taxpayer dollars being saved. Jim also conducted numerous fraud investigations resulting in $343,224 in receivables to the state. The tribute was dedicated to honor Hall and his family for their commitment to the State of Michigan.
