State Rep. Dan Lauwers has opened his Lansing office to help serve the people of the 81st House District and announced key contact information for people to easily reach him.
People can call Lauwers at (517) 373-1790; mail correspondence to S-1185 House Office Building, P.O. Box 30014, Lansing, MI 48909-7514; or send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Helping local residents with their questions or concerns is a huge part of my job as a state representative,” said Lauwers, R-Brockway. “It’s truly an honor to be given this tremendous opportunity. If I can ever be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact my office.”
Lauwers also announced he has hired Jill Larder and Josh Skrzypczak as his legislative aides.
The new lawmaker said he is eager to start the 2013-14 legislative session.
“I look forward to helping make Michigan a better place to provide jobs so our children and grandchildren don’t have to move away to grow a career,” Lauwers said. “Great strides have been made to help encourage economic growth, but more needs to be done to cut government red tape and the job-killing taxes that drive jobs away.”
Lauwers also will schedule local office hours to give area residents a convenient opportunity to speak directly with him.
