State Rep. Dan Lauwers of Brockway Township will be the featured speaker at the opening ceremonies for the Yale Bologna Festival on July 27 at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Yale.

This year, the festival features the American Veterans Traveling Tribute, a veteran-owned small business helping those unable to visit the great national memorial sites pay their respects and share in the experience of honoring our fallen heroes. The Traveling Vietnam Wall is the largest traveling Vietnam wall replica in the country and viewed at events across America over the past eight years.

“I am deeply honored to be a part of this ceremony. As a nation, we must never forget the sacrifices made by so many brave men and women in defense of our country and its freedoms,” Lauwers said. “It’s a true honor and a highlight of my time serving as a state representative to participate in the Traveling Vietnam Wall memorial ceremonies.”

The American Veterans Traveling Tribute will be in Yale for five days (July 26-30).
