Seeks images of district to make visitors feel at home

State Rep. Kim LaSata is asking people in Berrien County to help make her new Lansing office feel more like home.

LaSata, R-Bainbridge Township, is sponsoring a photo contest and asks people to send her their picturesque photographs of Berrien County. The top three winning entries will be framed and displayed in her Lansing office.

“From our scenic lakeshore to our snow-covered farms, I love the natural beauty of Berrien County,” LaSata said. “I’m very excited to see what people consider the most photogenic locations in the 79th House District, and I look forward to sharing the beauty of Southwest Michigan with everyone who visits this office.”

The winning photo will be displayed in her office, where she greets guests and visitors. The photographer will be invited to join her in Lansing for unveiling of the photo. The runners-up will hang in the lobby area of the office.

Photographs should be sent to LaSata by Friday, Feb. 10. They may be sent digitally to, or through the U.S. Postal Service at N-1098 House Office Building, P.O. Box 30014, Lansing, MI 48909. Entries also may be submitted via LaSata’s Facebook page at
