Rep. Jason Wentworth, R-Clare; audio on House passage of disabled veteran legislation

Categories: Audio,Wentworth Audio

Rep. Wentworth talks about House passage Tuesday of a two-bill package he co-authored that changes the Michigan Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to allow honorably discharged veterans who provide proof of their 100-percent disabled status to the Secretary of State to have their state park passport fee waived.  One-hundred percent disabled veterans can already access state parks for free with a Disabled Veteran (DV) license plate. However, Rep. Wentworth says many veterans would rather just get a state park passport sticker instead.
