RELEASE|January 2, 2020

State Rep. Gary Howell of North Branch has concluded a fourth consecutive year with a 100-percent voting record, taking part in all 378 roll call votes held during 2019.

“When it comes to representing our communities in Lansing, it is imperative that our collective voices be heard on each and every issue,” Howell said. “I was elected to be the voice for the people Lapeer County in the House of Representatives. It is a responsibility that I undertake with the utmost seriousness.”

In addition to a perfect voting record for 2019, Howell has made each and every roll call vote since first taking office in March of 2016, now bringing his total to 2,592 consecutive votes without an absence.

“I am humbled by the trust the people of Lapeer County have placed in me to be their representative in Lansing,” Howell continued. “Representing our community is a tremendous honor that I will never take for granted.”
