State Rep. Joe Graves, of Argentine Township, completed the year with a 100-percent voting record, taking part in every roll call vote during the 2017 legislative session.

“There is no such thing as a day off when it comes to representing the people of the 51st District,” Graves said. “Our neighbors sent me to Lansing to represent them and consistently voice their opinions.”

In addition to a perfect voting record for all roll call votes cast in the state House in 2017, according to michiganvotes.org, Graves never missed any of the 3,935 roll-call votes since taking office in February 2012 – giving him a perfect voting record for a fifth consecutive year.

“I’ve been humbled by the responsibility entrusted to me by the people of Genesee and Oakland counties,” Graves said. “Being able to represent our community is a great opportunity, and I will never take such an honor for granted.”
