Rep. Frederick featured in national Habitat for Humanity publication
RELEASE|March 29, 2019

Rep. Ben Frederick was recently featured in Habitat for Humanity’s national publication. The organization highlighted Frederick’s own experiences with Habitat during his childhood when his parents became owners of their own home through Saginaw-Shiawassee Habitat for Humanity. Frederick has focused on housing issues and been an ally of Habitat during his time as a state legislator.

From the article:

“Suddenly, Habitat took away one of the many key stress points of poverty. Housing was no longer a constant point of concern or instability,” Frederick says. “So my parents could start thinking ‘What is our five-year plan as a family? And how can we do more with experiences to nourish this life?’ And I’m grateful every day for that having happened to our family.”
