State Rep. Ray Franz of Onekama, invites Leelanau County residents to attend a meeting at the Leelanau County Government Center to share information regarding the state’s upcoming road funding proposal.
While the lawmaker looks forward to addressing any concerns or ideas residents may have with state government at the meeting, he will focus much of his presentation on details regarding the proposal.
“This is one of the many meetings I’m hosting on the road package, and based on previous meetings elsewhere in the district, as well as the phone calls I’ve received, people have a lot of questions and concerns about it,” said Franz, R-Onekama. “I welcome everyone to come to this meeting so we can get the conversation moving, or to bring up other topics that are on their minds. People are always welcome to call my office, plus I’ll have additional local meetings to keep people informed as we go along.”
The meeting will start at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 20 at the Government Center, 8525 E. Government Center Drive in Suttons Bay.
