Rep. Brandt Iden, the Chair of the House Regulatory Reform Committee, talks about House passage Wednesday of a bi-partisan package of legislation that would make it more difficult for an individual applying for a state occupational license to have his or her application denied based on a determination that he or she lacks of “good moral character” because of a criminal conviction.  Rep. Iden says passage of the package is good news for everyday people who have gotten their lives in order and are looking to enter a profession.
