State Rep. Ann Bollin issued the following statement after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced her state budget proposal:

“I appreciated hearing the governor’s budget presentation and agree we have a big job ahead of us.  The governor laid out her solutions to major issues plaguing our great state – however most of them come with a hefty price tag.  I look forward to working with the governor and my colleagues in the Legislature to deliver a budget that is fiscally responsible and provides a platform for structural reform. Our focus must be on finding long-term solutions without hindering the progress Michigan has made over the past eight years.”
