State Rep. Joe Bellino invites residents to chat with him about state and local issues during a three-stop tour on Monday, Aug. 27 in communities across Michigan’s 17th House District.
Bellino, of Monroe, will meet with residents one-on-one if they wish to share comments or concerns at the following times and locations:
• 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Tim Hortons of Monroe, 404 S. Monroe St., Monroe;
• 10-11 a.m. at the Sumpter Township Senior Center, 23501 Sumpter Road, Belleville; and
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Blue Heron Trading Company, 26217 Huron River Drive, Flat Rock.
“I always go the extra mile to make myself available to the residents I represent in Lansing, but these face-to-face, in-person engagements are even more valuable because I can get to know an individual and what they are concerned about,” Bellino said. “The passion they feel about issues is passion I can take to the state Capitol and I welcome people to stop by.”
No appointment is necessary. Residents unable to attend scheduled office hours may send their questions and ideas to Bellino via email at JosephBellino@house.mi.gov or by calling his office at 517-373-1530.
