State Rep. Julie Alexander announced her monthly office hours, emphasizing her priority of being open and accountable.

“The best part of my job is the opportunity to connect with people in the community and hear what matters most to them,” Alexander said. “I’m focused on effectively representing their interests in Lansing and meeting their needs back home in Jackson County.”

The representative will be available at the following times and locations:

• Office Hours
  • Friday, Feb. 8 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Jackson County Tower Building, 120 W. Michigan Ave. in Jackson;
  • Monday, Feb. 11 from Noon to 1p.m. at Jackson County Tower Building, 120 W. Michigan Ave. in Jackson;
  • Friday, Feb. 22 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Jackson County Tower Building, 120 W. Michigan Ave. in Jackson; and
  • Monday, Feb. 25 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Jackson County Tower Building, 120 W. Michigan Ave. in Jackson.
• Milk Break
  • Monday, Feb. 18 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Spring Arbor Café, 7975 Spring Arbor Road in Spring Arbor.
