With road construction season moving into full swing, Rep. LaSata reminds motorists that penalties, both fines and points, exist for speeding in highway work zones, and adds the caution also needs to be exercised around vehicles used by farmers and the Amish community.

Rep. LaSata talks about passage by the House Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee Wednesday of her HBs 5155 and 5156, which place authority for the state’s Adopt-a-Waterway and Adopt-a-Shoreline program under the Department of Natural Resources. Rep. LaSata says current state policy doesn’t specifically designate who supervises the programs.
